![]() No information on testees or contact information is allowed under requirements of the European Union's General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) in effect as of May 25, 2018. Please use your browser’s search find feature to locate a kit number. We will normally move these kits into a group as soon as we can see if they clearly match another group. At the very end will be a category called “Ungrouped” where new results reported out of the lab automatically go until they are analyzed to see if they have matches close enough to be included in one of the other groups or will go into our No Group. A separate group, also at the bottom, has been created for United Kingdom lines or ones with more recent known UK roots which still do not have matches. All kits that we originally called “No Group” are now listed near the bottom after all other groups. Kits that begin with "B" are people who originally tested with or 23andMe and transferred their results to our Turner DNA Project. Kits that were originally tested in the National Geographic Society’s Genographic Project are preceded with an “N” and will be at the end of each groups’ kits. There have been surprises-whether as a result of wrong research or previously unsuspected non-paternity events-so don't just assume that your line will match a posted line. You are encouraged to find a male Turner of your own line to test to confirm that you do indeed match a specific line. All data should be independently confirmed. They are suggested as guidelines to identify the branch of Turners tested rather than to be used for specific date documentation. ![]() Individual ancestries are being been made available for research by the person testing or their family researcher and cannot be guaranteed for accuracy by the Turner DNA project. For those kits which are still without matches in either the No Group or the UK unmatched kits, the Classic chart is less confusing. ![]() For the kits that have matches and have been assigned to a group, t he colorized chart is most helpful as it shows the “mutations” or differences from what is currently assigned as the “modal” value for each of the markers. Two versions of the generated charts are provided by FTDNA-Classic and Colorized. R esults are listed numerically by Groups as they appear on the Y-DNA Results charts (Select "DNA Results" from the choices on the left side of the Activity Feed page.).
